Dr. Thomas is a faculty member at the McGovern School of Medicine in Houston. He leads the ambulatory faculty practice for primary care and serves as co-editor of an international patient safety journal. His expertise in patient safety and primary care brings an essential clinical perspective to the Board.

KRISTA ROBERTS
Ms. Roberts previously served as a rural hospital CEO, and has experience on the Oklahoma Hospital Association’s Board of Directors, Krista provides experience with rural healthcare management and operations, essential for guiding quality improvement initiatives in these settings.

ANTHONY SANCHEZ
Mr. Sanchez is a healthcare consumer who has the experience of living with chronic conditions. He regularly interacts with healthcare providers and brings valuable insights from his experiences as a longtime member of national Patient and Family Advisory Committees. His involvement ensures that consumer perspectives inform our quality improvement efforts.

CECILIA VINSON
Ms. Vinson is a retired official from the Arkansas Department of Human Services’ Office of Long-Term Care who now serves as a long-term care consultant. Her expertise adds critical subject matter expertise to our governance in areas related to the elderly and disabled populations.

Dr. Spurlock has served as Convergence’s CEO for over twenty years. He is a nationally recognized quality leader and internist. His leadership with quality improvement initiatives are vital to Convergence’s strategic direction.
